Optimized for desktop specifically since I'm a VR-less andy. ![]() I even made a simple version to use as a fallback, so everyone no matter the platform will be able to see me as me, rather than as a hotdog or something like what usually happens if you disable most avatars. I already had made a blender model for their species earlier, so I edited the mesh a bit to bring down its polygon count, rigged it, and did all the other stuff you gotta do to put a model into vrchat. The message only appears because of the bones in the wrist and ankle floofs, but there should be no issues with them.BEHOLD I've made a vrchat avatar for one of my blorbos. Also, on another note, the VRChat SDK will give you a warning message about "you may have problems with forearm/shin rotations", but they will work fine. After importing the model, you will have to go to the the Materials folder in the Kirin folder and change the shaders to Poiyomi in order for the textures to appear. To successfully import the model, open the Unity package with Unity already open, and then once its imported, click and open the "Kirin (CLICK ME)" Unity scene file that will be in the Assets. Fake fullbody animations made by Dervali-gitīefore importing the model to Unity, you must have Poiyomi's Shader (but you may use any shader you'd like, just note that it may cause some 3.0 features to break if you do use a different shader), and VRChat 3.0 - Avatar SDK downloaded and in your Unity project (click names for links).psd versions of each texture, and texture guides to show which part goes where on the model Substance painter file, finally!!!
